Job Title: Bar Manager
Join our esteemed restaurant team as a Bar Manager and elevate the craft of mixology in an upscale, high-volume establishment. You’ll lead the charge in creating unforgettable guest experiences, crafting innovative cocktails, and driving sales through exceptional service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily bar operations, leading a team of skilled bartenders and driving revenue growth
- Develop and implement a seasonal cocktail menu that showcases your creativity and expertise
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction and staff development
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menus and experiences
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining profit margins through smart cost control
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a leadership role in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverage trends
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Mixology or other relevant hospitality courses
- Previous experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant setting
- Ability to develop and implement staff training programs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed for inventory or bar stock
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
