What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and cleanliness to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and providing ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation while implementing strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage food inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement effective portion control practices to optimize kitchen efficiency and cost management.
Experience Needed
- Minimum three (3) years experience as a Kitchen Manager in a full-service casual dining restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure, and maintain a calm demeanor under tight deadlines.
