A leading Casual Dining restaurant is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee culinary operations, lead a team of kitchen staff, and deliver exceptional food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and cleanliness
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and ongoing training
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation, while implementing strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage food inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement effective portion control practices
- Train and develop kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, plating presentations, and adherence to recipes and standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Experience Needed:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a full-service Casual Dining restaurant
- Strong culinary skills and solid understanding of kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively
